Continuing our legacy of performance and protection, we’re proud to welcome Basile Serre, one of Europe’s most promising young kitesurfers, to the Gath International Team.
Meet Basile Serre: Big Air World Champion
Basile began kitesurfing at just 10 years old, learning the ropes alongside his father. Growing up in Lancieux, Brittany, he had access to one of France’s best kiteboarding spots—a playground offering both flat water and waves, with winds from every direction.
When he’s not training at home, Basile hones his skills in Barcarès, the famous “Lord of Tram” competition spot in southern France, where some of the best kiteboarders in the world train.
A Rising Star in the Kiteboarding World
In 2025, Basile’s dedication and talent earned him the title of U14 Big Air World Champion in Germany—an incredible achievement that has motivated him to push his limits even further. Determined to defend his title, he’s now preparing for the 2026 French Big Air Championship, marking the next step in his competitive journey.
