Alexandre Besseau – Wins Silver at 2008 World Freestyle Kayaking Championships!

Gath congratulates Alexandre Besseau – Silver at World, Bronze at European Championships.

This last summer Alex took part in the the French team trip around Europe. The trip included participation in the European Championships in Spain and the World Cup in Czech Republic, Germany and Switzerland. Alex reports the team had lots of fun, parties and the support of their team was awesome! He claims the French team massacre of many races…. the team finally taking 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze at the Europeans and 1 gold, 1 silver at the Worlds.

Proud of his Gath, a helmet worn by many champions, Alex says he has appreciated the better protection. He says that the long sunny days in Spain gave him a good chance to use his visor – in a sport becoming as fashionable as other freestyle sports, Alex believes his Gedi not only looks great, but he likes the added eye and ear protection! Alex and his Gedi have already started preparation for the next season and his ultimate goal of winning the next World Championship!
