And today, that mission becomes even stronger as we proudly welcome Ezio Bastianelli to the Gath family.

The future of water sports belongs to the young guns — the new generation of athletes who are redefining style, progression, and safety. They make helmets not just acceptable, but cool, essential, and part of performance. Ezio is a perfect embodiment of this movement.

 

Meet Ezio Bastianelli

Ezio Bastianelli is a 15-year-old freestyle phenom from Porto-Vecchio, Corsica, driven by an unstoppable passion for extreme sports. From windsurfing and surfing to skateboarding and mountain biking, Ezio thrives wherever progression is possible. But it’s in competitive wingfoiling where he truly stands out.

Sponsored by F-ONE, one of the top brands in wingfoiling, Ezio has already built an impressive international résumé at an age where most athletes are just getting started.

A Championship Mindset

Ezio’s results speak for themselves:

  • 2023 – U14 Freestyle World Champion

  • 2025 – U16 Freestyle World Champion

  • 2025 – French Junior Champion (Freestyle)

  • 2025 – Vice-Champion of France (Senior Freestyle)

  • 16th place – Senior Freestyle World Championship 2025

 

Future objectives:

  • Win the U19 World Championship title

  • Break into the Top 10 Senior Freestyle riders worldwide

And this is only the beginning.
