It saved me!

I’m a 66 year old surfer (I started surfing at age 57) and prior to surfing I was a body surfer from age 7 to 57 About 8 years ago I got clocked by my board which resulted in two staples in my head. I ordered my first Gath helmet shortly after that. I purchased my  second helmet about 3 years ago. Well long story made shorter, I took a really HARD HIT from my board on the left side of my head. My brain was rattled. Without the helmet I may have been brain dead, paralysed or dead. It actually knocked out the ear covering. I didn’t go for medical attention, even though I should have. However I was feeling the effects for 3 weeks. I was foggy and had some headaches. I am so grateful for the Gath Helmet. I’m now looking to perhaps get the EVA Surf Helmet. Thanks to everyone on the Gath team! I was spared a horrible injury!
